The Management of Upper West Akim District Assembly led by the District Planning and Coordinating Unit organised a community sensitization programme towards the development of the annual action plan, at Sukrong Bethlehem, Asikasu, Asuotwene, Adeiso, Kwao-Baah and Kumikrom from 23rd to 31stAugust, 2023.
The meeting was organised to present the mid-year performance of the 2023 District Composite Annual Action Plan and Budget and also solicit for community views and development needs which has implication for the next planning year, 2024.
The meeting was well attended by Heads of Departments, Assembly members, the Traditional Authorities, the Clergy, Moslem Community business men and women, the youth, farmers, civil society organisations (Obra Foundation & FLOWER) and the general public.
A total of 289 participants were present out of 172 were males and 117 were females. A total of twenty-nine (29) PWDs were recorded present for the meetings.
