As part of the Measures to prevent the spread of Corona Virus, the Upper West Akim District Assembly on July, 2020 distributed tissues, sanitizers, liquid soap, washing bowls, veronica buckets and metal stands for onward distribution to the citizenry.
The distribution exercise began on July, 2020 and is being led by the District Chief Executive, Health Officers, Assembly Members and some Government appointees.
