The D.C.E urged all girls to take Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics serious. He also said in his address that government is positive to encouraging the girl child education thus the award given to the best Female Science Student in all Senior High schools in the Nation's IndependenceCelebration. He further said the government of Ghana led by Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo is assiduously putting measures in place to mitigate the current crisis the country is facing. The District Chief Executive appreciated all individuals who contributed their quota for the successful 66th Independence Day Celebration in the District. The MP and Deputy Minister for Transport Hon. Fredrick Adom Obeng did the honour of presenting the award to the Best Science Female Student in the District from the Kwao Baah Nyanoa SHS. The Celebration was spiced up with the cutting of special Ghana designed cake. Osaberima Asare Oduro I, the Paramount chief of the District and chief of Adeiso the DistrictCapital in his clossing remarks expressed the total beauty of the Celebration. He urged government Stakeholders and all Citizens to be positive minded towards the District's development. He finally prayed that the good Lord keeps everyone safe in all endeavours in the District. The Security Services led by A.S.P Alfred Bafour-Awuah, the District Police Commander of Upper West Akim District and the Ambulance services was present to maintain peace and order. The Adeiso Pressby JHS & SHS were award best performed School in the 66th Independence Day Match pass. A closing prayer was said to by the representative of the Chairman of the District's Local of Churches.
